Share The Love: Support School On Wheels
School on Wheels has been one of Royal United Mortgage LLC’s longtime outreach partners. On Thursday January 26th, they held a networking event at Blind Owl Brewery. The event lasted a full two hours, and was used as both a fundraiser, and also as a way for members of the community to learn more about what the School on Wheels does for central Indiana.
The event was a hit, as School on Wheels offered one free drink per attendant! During the event RTV-6 in partnership with the Scripps Howard Foundation is offering a donation match of up to $25,000 for the month of February. The donation drive is called “Share the Love” and will run all month. Those who take part in it will help fund the donation to the School on Wheels.
The Indianapolis branch of the School on Wheels exists to help children of impoverished, or homeless parents. Our team promotes education and supports the youth in our community. We have donated backpacks, books, school supplies,
and other essentials in the past. Several on our team also regularly donate their time to tutor School on Wheels children and help with their homework.
The $25,000 donation will help cover supplies for many children in central Indiana.
